Position: Senior Sales Executive – Tyres
Required no. of years of experience: 5-6 years
Educational Qualification:
MBA from reputed institutes.
Should be computer literate with profanely on MS office, ERP
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Required Profile (Candidate should have exposed to):
Minimum 5-6 years in automotive distribution business
Should be experienced in handling Sales / Marketing, Deal ever Development, Parts & Service during the tenure.
Behavioral Attributes Required: Excellent Communication skills, Positive attitude, focused towards performance
Role and Responsibility
- Responsible for sales of tyres to end user’s, fleets, corporates, NGO’s, Touring companies, Matatu and bus cooperatives, tendering in ministries and parastatals , dealers etc as necessary
- To prepare quotations for tyres supplies to various customers.
- You will be responsible for Sales of tyres as stipulated above.
- Submission of Pre Qualifications / Tenders of our tyres with government / Parastatal/ NGO/ Corporates companies.
- To do periodic performances follow up of our tyres against competitors.
- To provide Market information – competitor’s promotions/pricing/activities etc
- Store and stock management and monthly reports of sales and stocks.
- Invoicing in our ADP software and collection of payments for cash sales or credit sales as approved on due dates.
- Prospections/referrals/ new dealers within and outside Nairobi.
- We will define the following, office work and field work/customer visitation and upcountry trips, for potential sales and product follow up. Tools/mobility/stationery etc.
- Customer queries in terms of premature failures. Analysis and advice.
- To prepare scrap analysis and customer monthly reports.
- Customer/dealer training at various levels as when necessary.
- MIS reports sales, stocks, planning, performances, KPI’s etc.
- Delivery of tyres to customers/dealers from our warehouse or liberty plaza and collecting a signed POD (proof of delivery) or invoice.
Preferable Industry / Company: Automobile, Transport Engineering, manufacturing industry
