Audience Research Manager – Ipsos Uganda

The Role

  • Questionnaire design and project briefing to technical team
  • Media project coordination
  • Advising client executives on technical research matters
  • Advising data analysts on expected data outputs
  • Client liaison on matters such as questionnaire design, project design and data interpretation
  • Distribution of research findings and reports to end users
  • Overall responsible for analysis and tabulation of media audience (AMPS)
  • Advice to media team on analysis tools/statistics that can be applied to add additional value to research results. This entail investigating new statistical/analysis methods/techniques, data modeling and data presentation models such as charting macros
  • Assisting the media team/statistician with weights calculation for media data
  • Taking part in project brainstorms and providing input on value-add and interpretations
Required Knowledge and qualifications
  • 1st degree from a reputable university
  • Experience in quantitative research
  • 5 years of experience
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to clients
  • Advising on all research methodologies and operations
  • Analyzing samples and tracking data as well as overall operational performance
  • Customer relationship management
  • Project management
  • Financial management
  • In-depth knowledge of media research and monitoring solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Statistical Skills
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • People Management Skills
  • Is steeped in media with either an agency or mass media background
