Group ICT Manager
Our Client is a group of companies operating in the tourism, real estate and general management.
They seek to recruit a self-motivated individual to fill the above vacancy.
Job Purpose: The holder will be responsible for the delivery of secure, reliable, resilient and efficient ICT services that will enhance productivity throughout the Group.
S/he will work closely with business owners and users to ensure that ICT business solutions meet or exceed user requirements, and that improvements are continuously identified and implemented.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and/or review ICT policies and standards and ensure they are fully implemented
- Ensure that all user systems are secure and data integrity is maintained all the time
- Review and recommend infrastructure and systems upgrades in line with changing business and technology needs
- Ensure that all systems are integrated and operate efficiently in accordance with global IT standards and guidelines.
- Ensure that systems are well supported as per service level agreements with users
- Provide the Group and other authorized users with a secure and reliable working desktop environment that will enhance productivity in all entities
- Ensure provision of timely, accessible and responsive service support for all ICT users.
- Build, maintain and regularly test ICT Business Continuity Plan and implement necessary Disaster Recovery policies and procedures and site that would enable all operations to run in case of disaster
- Undertake research to evaluate and recommend new products to ensure the Group continues to leverage new ICT technology.
- Maintain an up to date inventory for the entire Group’s ICT asset portfolio.
- Provide leadership to the ICT teams in all the Group entities
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in IT or related field
- MSCE, CCNA or similar Certification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a busy ICT environment with at least 3 years as ICT Team Leader.
- Proven knowledge in Active Directory user and group policy management;
- Technical Knowledge in Software, Hardware installation, Systems Administration & Support, Service Management, Network Technology and Project Management
- UNIX/Windows -knowledge and application
- Experience in managing content and production for high traffic websites.
- Conceptual, analytical and creative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have the drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
