Sales Manager – Nairobi, Kenya

An International Company, dealing with the Physical Security Products is looking to recruit a Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate MUST have prior experience in the security industry.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Collaborate with the local company in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals.
  • Manage an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales.
  • Establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.
  • Perform sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provide quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Collaborate with local company to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all products.
  • Interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Educate sales team by establishing programs/seminars.
  • Collaborate with local company to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade shows.
  • Review expenses and recommends economies.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications;
  • Degree in Marketing or Business studies is preferred.
  • MUST have a minimum of 7 years of related experience or training in Security sector.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Prepared to work overtime and weekends if required.
  • A valid driver’s license (with a car if possible).
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 40,000 – 70,000/= (Approx. 8,200 – 9,400 USD)depending on experience
