ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Kenyan Ministry of Health to strengthen HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services at County and Sub County health facilities. 
This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 
Applications are invited for the following position:

Program Officer – Medically Assisted Therapy
Location: Kisumu
 

Overall Job Function: Reporting to the Program Director in Nyanza, the MAT Program Officer will provide day to day technical support in the provision of Medically Assisted Therapy (MAT) at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga teaching and referral hospital in Kisumu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Establishment of MAT services
  • Coordinate in Training and Mentorship of Health care workers on MAT
  • Assist with Monitoring and Evaluation of MAT services
  • Assist in development of training materials
  • Assist with Commodity management
  • Liaise with National and County partners in implementation
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from recognised institution.
  • A candidate with diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or its equivalent with relevant work experience will be considered.
  • At least three (3) relevant work experience
