Water Production Technician (Skie Ice Water) – Anchor Millers
Location: Nyeri Number of positions: 1
Job Overview: Provide mechanical support to the water bottling plant and carry out regular maintenance and repairs
Reporting to the Production Manager, main duties will include but are not limited to the following;
- Evaluate, install and operate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Confer with the plant manager and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations on maintenance.
- Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure smooth and seamless operations at the bottling plant
- Perform any other duties as allocated my management from time to time
Person specifications/Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on Mechanical experience of not less than 2 years in a packaging plant
- Ability to read and understand designs and specifications
- Well organized, self-driven and inquisitive in nature
- Honest , hardworking and a team player
- Previous experience in a Water or Beverage Bottling plant is desirable
