Description: Tato Auto Spares (K) Co., Ltd is an import-oriented spare parts supplier for all Japanese Vehicles including Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Subaru, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Actros & Scania. Also deals with Lorry parts like FH, Canter, UD & Nyati.
It started running in Kenya in 2012 & has another branch in Tanzania which started seven years ago. We focus on offering our professional service to most developing countries in Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.
The company seeks to employ a dynamic, hardworking and innovative assistant accountant with a strong sense of integrity,inquisitive, detail oriented and business-minded.
The incumbent should posses the following qualities and perform the duties and responsibilities below;
Person Specifications
- Strong understanding of the workings of an office
- Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
- CPA- at least Section 4
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with customers and external contacts
- Good organizational Skills and the ability to work with and sometimes implement own processes
- Must have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks system
- At least 1 year experience in a busy accounts office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconciling finance accounts
- Maintaining Spreadsheets/Petty Cash book
- Credit Control
- Preparing statutory accounts i.e VAT, NSSF,NHIF & PAYE
- Invoice processing
- Handling and writing cheques
- Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and request for payment
- Verifying calculations working with the accounts system preferably QuickBooks
- Managing petty cash transactions
- Knowledge in I-tax KRA system will be an added advantage.
