Jumia is expanding its activities in Kenya. 

• Serve as main point of contact on all IT-related services for Jumia Kenya (I.T rep)
• Defining and monitoring the I.T process.
• Communicate effectively with staff to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Continually seek opportunities to increase staff and client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Coordinate the training of staff on how to use the Jumia systems, and mentoring and training new ICT support staff
• Coordinate implementation of new systems.
• Ensuring the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure proper service delivery to the organization.
• Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack
• Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems by resolving or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
• Act as the onsite shop manager.
• Advise management during acquisition of new systems and assets related to I.T
• Assist in hiring of new talent to join the I.T or related department.
• Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Keeping up with the latest technologies.

• You have a degree in IT
• You have a minimum of 3 years experience
• You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
