Some of the major functions are;

• To provide strategic financial direction and leadership while providing operational support in all areas of financial planning and trade spend in the East African Region.
• Provides direction/support to ensure the Legal Entity meets its financial targets.
• Ensures appropriate tracking measures are in place to highlight the performance or potential course correction to ensure the Business is on track to achieve its commitments.
• This position has direct impact on establishing new processes and policies within the legal entity in Kenya and the Region.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Controlling; preferred: Business budgeting, controlling and strategic planning.
• 5 years’ experience in a senior controlling function in a large organization
• Professional Accounting qualification CPA (K) or its equivalent.
• Degree in finance and/or business from reputable organization.
• Experience with developing and implementing accounting and finance principles and practices; Project management of larger projects; Senior Financial & Management Responsibilities; preferred: Experience with multiple business groups or businesses, experience working in international organizations.
