Green Forest Social Investment (GFSI), founded in 2008 in Suba, is an integrated social development enterprise centered on a number of sustainable rural production activities.

GFSI aims to stimulate economic empowerment by creating sustainable income generating opportunities for small holder farmer and community members, as well as investing in social well being and environmental conservation.

GFSI is currently seeking well-qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:
 

Responsible for guiding the overall Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) strategy, implementation of related activities within the program and via partners.
 

2. Business Development officer

Responsible for development of appropriate and market responsive products; development and implementation of effective marketing strategies.

3. Agro-Forester

Responsible for managing all GFSI forested land/ forestry-related assets and interventions for economic and conservation purposes.

4. Workshop Coordinator

An experienced “hands on” agricultural engineer/mechanic with organizational skills and administrative experience.

Responsible for the workshop budget, coordination of utilization of vehicles and machinery, maintenance of workshop equipment.

5. Mechanic / Driver

Maintenance of workshop equipment, tools and machinery.

6. Accounts Assistant

Qualified and experienced accounts assistant for a busy development program accounts and microfinance office.

7. Procurement Officer

Qualified procurement officer to work in a structured and transparent way to deliver reliable, efficient and effective organizational procurement services

8. ICT Officer

Qualified ICT officer to effectively co-ordinate and maintain a variety of ICT equipment at the organization including desktops & servers, wired and wireless networks, websites and databases.
