Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the drawing up and managing of the University Budget
• Periodically maintain and present books of Accounts of the University in accordance with the Financial Regulations made under the provisions of the University Charter.
• Give regular financial reports
• Supervise Staff in the Finance Department
• Coordinate the Implementation and Development of Financial and operational management systems
• Coordinate and Implement Financial policies
• Maintain and update the University’s Asset Register
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The University bursar must hold a masters Degree in finance and accounting
• Possess full professional qualification in Accounting and Finance
• Possess senior administrative managerial experience of at least five years
• High level of integrity & Leadership skills
• Highly creativity & Innovative
• Excellent planning skills
• Financial knowledge and skills
• Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills
• Age: 35 – 55 years
