Required:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant trade experience is required.
• GCC experience will be well regarded
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years apprentice experience in testing optical fiber cabling with OTDR & LSPM is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years experience in leading telecom team
• Licensed Electronic and Telecommunication BE / Bsc engineering is an advantage

• Provides leadership and pro-active management
• Installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover of telecoms equipment (e.g. Huawei equipment)
• General knowledge of Inter and Intra SS7 Signalling System plus ISDN Protocols
• Management of super nodes, base station equipment and the remote cluster control equipment (RCC)
• Knowledge of copper installation and maintenance
• Good experience in design of fibre network , FTTX and FTTB
• Knowledge and experience of OTDR , power & source Testing and documentation
• Knowledge ODF installations
• Knowledge of GPON,OLT , ONT, ONU solution
• Testing, commissioning and migration of fibre system
• Integration of NGN voice, ISP, IPTV, OSS/NMS
• Measure, monitor and report on expenditure against budget for telecom works
