Requirement: HR Manager
The key responsibilities
- Coordinating staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
- Ensure proper labour employee and industrial relations
- Ensure proper Manpower planning, development and reporting
- Coordinating and managing staff training programs;
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with the health & safety, and the management and keep a record of all the minutes;
- Support and coordinate Performance management program,
- Provide guidance to supervisors and staff on HR policies,
- Managing staff Leave and absence in the file
- Maintain personal files and ensure they are up to date
- Responsible for Occupational Health and safety
- Participate in development of company policies and staff regulations
- Drawing up of NHIF, NSSF and PAYE returns every month.
- Handling payment of wages and salaries on a weekly / fortnightly basis.
The candidates should posses the following minimum qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education or social sciences.
- At least 2 years experience in a busy HR set up.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and HR management systems.
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral. (English and Swahili are a must)
- A good understanding of relevant labour legislation, policies and procedures.
- Good understanding of any HR software package that can be used locally.
