RBC is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position:
Job title: Hotline staff
Duration of Contract: 1 year renewable
Supervisor: Director of Behavior Change and communication
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Behavior Change and communication in the Rwanda Health Communication Centre; the Hotline Staff shall perform the following main tasks:
-To provide accurate information to the population;
-To give information on behavior change;
-To give psychological counseling by phone line to people infected or affected by HIV:
-To refer public towards a voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) and prevention of mother to child transmission ( PMTCT);
-To provide information related to sexual and reproductive health (SRH):
-To refer callers to relevant STIs/HIV/AIDS services
-Any other assignment provided by the HoD RBC/RHCC
Specific Requirements:
-Be a Rwandan By Nationality
-Holding AO in any field
-Have a perfect knowledge of Kinyarwanda, English and French.
-Be able to work in any requesting conditions with minimum supervision
