Talent Development Specialist
Overall Purpose
This newly created role will develop, coordinate, and deliver KTDA’s Talent Development Strategy, including facilitation and instruction in management& leadership training, establish and foster employee engagement, and institute best practices Talent Development Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, direct and oversee talent management and organization programmes.
- Develop relevant training curriculum to address talent management and employee development across the KTDA group of Companies
- Institute competency models and accountability functions across all departments.
- Manage the performance management process to ensure linkages with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Interface with senior management to identify and develop key talent.
- Promote internal mobility objectives and guide in succession planning, gap analysis and readiness assessments.
- Conduct periodic corporate and leadership needs assessment to identify key skills and competencies needed to drive business strategy.
- Develop and review group skills and competence framework for effective succession planning and training.
- Identify and appraise external institutions for partnership in staff development.
- Assess the overall impact of training in the organization.
- Champion various methods and practices to record and recognize employees.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and competencies:-
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- MBA an added advantage.
- 10 years experience in designing, developing and delivering training programmes in multiple locations.
- Strong analytical and decision making abilities.
- Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Membership of a professional HR body
- Professional qualification in L&D, coaching and mentoring.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Experience in online management systems and administration
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
