Local Productions Kenya Limited seeks to appoint an experience candidate in the role of Programmes Acceptance for Africa Magic Swahili Channel.
This position reports to the Regional Manager and will be based at our offices in Nairobi.
- View all incoming content and assist in identifying suitable content for the channel as per set technical standards.
- Assist in eliminating undesirable content and support editing requirements.
- Assign age restriction to agreed standards and broadcasting censor board codes.
- Assist Schedule Planner with best optimal scheduling slots for content viewed.
- Write up viewing reports and capture and distribute to relevant suppliers.
- Identify audio cuts with regard to undesirable language of content for transfers.
- View programming content and compile well written synopsis for publicity.
- Filing & management of synopsis, publicity material and follow up on outstanding publicity material with content suppliers.

Experience and Qualifications
Required
- A degree or diploma in TV/Media/Scriptwriting/Drama
- A minimum of 5 years TV production experience
- Extensive knowledge about TV broadcasting
- Computer literacy (Excel [critical], Word and PowerPoint); familiarity with SYNERGY an advantage
