A leading company with a large state-of-the-art commercial laundry wishes to recruit a Sales Manager – Laundry.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and self motivated professional who wants to move his/her career forward.

As the Sales Manager – Laundry, you will be responsible for maximising the sales of the laundry unit through the formulation of effective policies and implementation of effective promotional campaigns while building and maintaining a solid client base.

Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Managing the laundry sales and marketing function
  • Developing marketing and sales strategies especially to commercial clients
  • Developing and managing orders and order forecasts from customers
  • Gathering and analyzing trends and market information
  • Managing feedback on service performance and market data and channeling it into service development and marketing efforts
  • Monitoring the sales performance of competitors to ensure the company maintains and develops a competitive position and mitigating strategies to any perceived threats
Requirements

Skills

  • Strong sales development skills and proven experience in service sales and marketing qualities
  • Consumer sales and client relationship background is a distinct advantage
  • Strong sales management skills – developing sales teams, targets and delivering results
  • Well-developed quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Ability to deliver professional sales and marketing presentations, proposals and reports
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent phone/communication skills
  • Extensive technical background in laundry operations – ability to communicate technical details to non-technical persons such as clients or marketing firms
  • Ability to think ahead – anticipate and solve problems before they arise
  • A valid driving license with at least 3 years’ driving experience within Nairobi and its environs
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Business Administration) and formal technical training in laundry operations
  • 5 years of experience in strong sales team management needed with a proven track record and expertise in all aspects of business development, customer relationship management and sales
