Our client, a Leading inspection, verification, testing and certification services all over the world seeks to hire a HR Manager for her Tanzanian Office

Tanzania HR Manager

Primary Responsibilities

To provide a professional and comprehensive Human Resources support to the Management Team and the staff of client in Tanzania.

Manage the Kenya Human Resources Department efficiently, within budget restraints and legal obligations.

Contribute to and implement locally HR processes, systems and tools as defined by the Group.

Reporting To: Managing Director

Specifically These Responsibilities Are To:

Recruitment

  • Management of recruitment process at all levels, implementation of adequate tools, building of relationship with recruitment agencies.
  • Recruit competent persons to allow good functioning of the business.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Recommendation and implementation of a remuneration policy and salary structure in line with the local practices and the Group’s guidelines.
  • Ensure or supervise the good processing of payroll, making sure that accuracy, legal requirements, punctuality and clarity is respected.
Training and Development
  • Implement a training & and development policy. Analyze training and development needs together with the Line Managers, and recommend the appropriate training and development actions to be taken.
Organisation
  • Implementation of HR procedures, communication to all employees taking into account client Group guidelines, local legislation and unions requirements.
Performance Management
  • Customization and implementation of client Group performance management process and tools. Training of Management and staff on the how to use the process effectively.
Social & Industrial Relations
  • Nurture a good relationship with social partners and unions and contribute to the good image of the Company in the economic environment.
Budget Management
  • Preparation of the HR department’s budget and provide support to manpower budget for other departments.
Communication
  • Contribution to a good communication within client organization in Tanzania.
Profile: Minimum 4-5 years experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management: recruitment, training & development, management, administration, compensation & benefits, legislation.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and relational skills to be able to liaise efficiently at all levels.
  • Must be well organized and have a strong working knowledge of all HR disciplines
  • Ability to build trust, respect and confidentiality
  • Hands-on and practical approach
  • Good balance between firmness and diplomacy
  • Sense of initiative, able to work independently
  • Be a change agent and model, bringing creative solutions. Financial and organizational analyzing skills to be able to come up with solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and set high standards.
  • At ease with computer systems
  • Fluent English on top of the local language
  • Graduate in relevant discipline
Salary is Ksh 400,000.
