Business Development Officer – Glass Company

Salary: Ksh 40,000- 50,000 plus commission
Our client is a glass processing organization dealing with a unique product range.
They seek to hire a business development officer with experience in the glass, interior design, construction and/or real estate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Growing business through sales and marketing of company products i.e. Building glasses, Toughened glass, Laminated glass, Obscure glasses, Mirrors, office dividers, stop sol glasses
- Working with project managers to ensure client’s needs are met
- Handling marketing, PR and branding of the company
- Identify markets and develop ways of entry into the markets
- Achieve individual & team sales targets
- Market research, reporting and strategy formulation
- Prepare orders & quotations of items and negotiate offers with clients
- Give sales presentations to the clients
- Provide regular reports where necessary to assist in decision making by Senior Management Client service
- To attend events that seek to publicize the company e.g. ideal interiors expo, building expo, etc
- Implement sales and marketing plans
- To support the development of the Sales and Marketing function of the company
- Take responsibility for specific marketing campaigns and projects within the department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree/ Diploma in Business with a concentration in Sales and marketing/ PR
- At least three (3) years experience in a marketing/business development preferably in a related industry
- Computer literate
- Excellent management & communication skills
- Can work under pressure
- Excellent levels of customer service
