Creative Y&R is an advertising agency dealing in branding, SEO, printing, design, advertising, web and digital, publishing services in Nairobi Kenya.

The main purpose of this job is to effectively translate ideas into design executions, ensuring a consistently high level of design quality.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with account managers, content developers, web developers and other key stakeholders.
• Facilitate product vision through research, usability testing, sketches, wireframes, prototyping and user-experience research.
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
• Optimize existing user interface design

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
