We are a startup technology company looking for an HR Officer to join our youthful technology team and support the day-to-day activities of our small IT office
HR Officer main responsibilities include managing and motivating employees, developing contracts, developing employee handbook
Ultimately, you will make sure all HR operations run smoothly.
HR Admin Officer Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Create staff handbooks, contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employment, promotion etc.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Requirements for the HR Admin Officer Job
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2 years proven working experience as a HR officer
- Demonstrable experience with human resourcesĀ metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of best HR practices
Salary range is Ksh 35,000 to Ksh.45,000 Gross
