The Capital Markets Authority is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing an efficient capital market in Kenya.
The Authority invites applications for the following position:
Temporary Procurement Assistant
1 Position
Contract Period: 6 Months renewable on need basis
Reporting to the Procurement Officer, the selected candidate will be responsible for;
- Providing support in tender / request for quotation evaluation
- Following up the award decisions to ensure delivery of goods / services
- Raising and processing purchase/service orders.
- Ensuring procurement documents and records are maintained, safeguarded and archived as required by law.
- Assisting in monitoring inventory levels in order to raise purchase orders as may be necessary
- Following up with service providers on contract execution
- Performing any other duties as assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply or a related field
- Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
