Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following position:
 
Job Title: Partnership Accountant
Duty Station: Nairobi
 
Duration: Open Ended Contract
 

 
Job Summary: The incumbent will ensure all aspects of Concern’s financial procedures and processes with local partners and Consortia members are effectively carried out.
He/she will make sure that partner contracts are in line with our standard template; review alt partners’ assessments findings and design capacity building approach and plan in consultation with finance officers.
As part of monitoring, he/she review partner expenditure reports and carry out planned and ad hoc reviews / audits focusing where the money and the problems are.

Job Specification:

  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Internal Audit certification (CIA)
  • CPA (K) or ACCA professional certification
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in internal auditing
  • Experience in working with international NGO that works with partners is an added advantage
  • Proficient in computer software applications including at least one accounting/financial software, preferably Microsoft Great Plains (MGP), Word and Excel
  • Confidentiality, integrity, accountability and attention to detail
