The position is responsible for offering quality health care to all patients in the hospital and work closely with medical & nursing staff to ensure that patients receive the best treatment, advising on the selection, dose and administration route

Pharmaceutical Technologist Job Key Responsibilities

• Manage OTC clients appropriately
• Dispense appropriate prescriptions
• Drug supplies management (monitor inventory level, prioritize orders and do periodic stock takes)
• Proper record management within the job role and as required by the PPB Act
• Prepare and submit reports on daily, weekly and monthly sales and expenses
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, patients, staff and doctors
• Advice the management on areas of improvement for the growth of the enterprise

Personal Attributes

• High level of customer service, integrity, belief in progress and professional responsibility
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Willing to work extra hour when necessary
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements for the Pharmaceutical Technologist Job

• Diploma in Pharmacy
• Experience in a similar position in a retail pharmacy at least for 2 years
• Strong customer development skills
• Demonstrable computer skills/literacy
• Knowledge of the local dialect will be a plus
• Desirable Requirement(s): In line with our strategy to fully comply with the PPB Act and regulations, a licensed pharmaceutical technologist ready to immediately pick up the job is most preferred and the license should be available and up to date.
