Job Title: Assistant Programme Manager

Our client is a charity organization that offers self-development and character building programmes to young people countrywide equipping them with positive life-skills.

They seek to hire an Assistant Programme Manager who assist the Programme Manger in enhancing quality M&E, ensuring proper use of M&E frameworks and tools to maintain quality program delivery for the organization.
 
Roles:
  • Coordination of Projects, Programmes to ensure high quality results
  • Collection of Programme data/information and preparation of Programme reports
  • Supervision of registration processes for participants and institutions
  • Facilitating Capacity building for young people and adults
  • Assist in programme design and implementation with knowledge in any of the following; Training, research, digital learning, resource mobilization and development of M&E plans, frameworks for all the programmes and projects in the organization.
  • Assist in designing of M&E plans and systems, identify key performance parameters for new programmes and projects and ensure the effective use by staff, partners and stakeholders as necessary
  • Work with Programme Manager at inception phase to define M&E plans for each project, log frames, and targets, implement the donor’s requirements, create long term plans, etc
  • Build capacity of staff in project monitoring and data collection against set indicators, and use of such information in development of project reports
  • Assist in formulating baseline measures and targets, during writing and set up of donor project proposals as well as throughout project implementation
  • Promoting the Award Brand
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the Social Sciences.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the social development sector, youth development experience will be an added advantage.
  • Must have Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • HELB loan clearance certificate (where applicable),
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • Good coordination, writing, analytical skills
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
