Karibu Homes is seeking a passionate Sales Executive to bring new customers into the Karibu Homes family and help achieve their mission.

The successful candidate will be a well-organized sales professional.
He or she will understand the multi-stage sales process, including in-depth knowledge of payment plan structures and mortgage arrangements.
Karibu Homes are at the forefront of affordable housing in Kenya, working with a clear vision and mission to bridge the gap between demand and supply across the sector.
They are creating a community of 1,000+ homes in the booming satellite town of Athi River, on the outskirts of Nairobi.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Having clear and deep knowledge of the Karibu Homes sell
  • Generating sales leads from marketing pushes and from self-motivated initiatives. Ensure independent and timely follow up of all leads. Taking ownership of leads through the sales cycle.
  • Meeting weekly, monthly and annual sales targets as directed by the Sales Manager and Managing Director.
  • Understanding the needs and motivations of potential clients. Disseminating this information to the Sales Manager and Managing Director at weekly sales meetings.
  • Providing polite and informative customer service to potential and purchasing clients.
  • Liaising with the administrative team to ensure clients’ legal paperwork are executed in a timely manner. Meeting clients for site visits as convenient to the client
  • Performing any other related activities required in the company from time to time

  • Good communicator: You are able to pass your message across clearly, to your customers, team members and management as needed.
  • Real estate champ: You have a good understanding of real estate sales and love to stay updated on the Kenyan real estate market.
  • Embody the Karibu Homes brand: You are able to work independently, multi-task, prioritize and to handle the high stress environment of a sales department. You are passionate, self-driven and have integrity.
  • Computer and system proficiency: You are proficient in MS Office- excel, word, PowerPoint. You are comfortable with using CRM systems and are able to follow standard operating procedures.
