Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
- Preparing and implementing annual audit plans.
- Undertaking special audit investigations as may be required from time to time.
- Preparing audit reports and developing recommendations to address arising audit concerns.
- Monitoring the implementation of agreed actions and initiating remedial actions where needed.
- Testing and appraising accounting, financial and other operating controls for soundness and adequacy.
- Reviewing operations against business and strategic plans to determine consistency.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Business degree.
- CPA (K) or ACCA.
- Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS and Auditing standards.
- CISA certification will be an added advantage.
- 4 years continuous internal audit experience.
- Analytical skills.
- High integrity.
- Excellent report writing skills.
