Position: .NET / PHP Developer
Start Date: Immediately
Years of Experience: At least 2 years progressive experience developing systems using .NET & PHP
ScriptX Consulting Limited: is a technology company focused on providing custom solutions to clients on business processes automation and information management at enterprise level. Our solutions are developed using both proprietary and open source software.
The Role: In order to increase our capacity to be able to deliver consistently to our clientele base, we are seeking to recruit a developer with skills in both .NET and PHP development.
The developer will be expected to develop both desktop and web-based applications.
The Skills, Qualifications and Competencies:
In order to be considered for the above position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Degree educated in Computer Science or related subject
- At least 2 years’ experience.
- Be proficient in the development of software using both .NET and PHP languages
- Experience working with SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Oracle is desirable
- Demonstrated experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012, SQL Server, SQL replication, IIS and publishing to IIS
- Familiar with MySQL/PostgreSQL, PHP, XAMPP ( configuration of LAMP stack on Linux is desirable)
- Experience in PHP Frameworks e.g. Laravel, Codeigniter, Symfony etc.
- An understanding of MVC design patterns and Object Oriented programming
- Good understanding of Linux and Apache administration
- Experience in version control software e.g. Git, SVN
- Demonstrated ability to work with people as part of a team and with minimum supervision
