Duma Works is recruiting a POS Technical Manager for one of our clients, a leading ICT distributor that provides a complete end-to-end manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing, service and technical support infrastructure to its customers.
Main Duties
- Leading a team of technicians in POS Configuration and trouble shooting
- Scheduling site visits and ensuring effectiveness and timeliness
- Managing and supporting technical support staff
- Structuring meetings and systems to be followed by technical support team
Requirements
- Experience installing POS system software in hospitality sector
- Experience configuring Micros POS, Gaap POS or RetailPro POS software
- Experience configuring ESD, physical printers, receipt printers
- Experience loading menus to POS systems for restaurants
- Excellent punctuality and time management, great sense of urgency to solve client issues
- Ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- 2 year experience with POS Software installation that includes hospitality industry
- Qualifications in IT are a plus but not essential to the role
- Team leadership/management experience
