Vacant Positions – Tumaini Clinic Isiolo
Food for the hungry, Kenya (FH Kenya) and Anglican Development Services, Mt. Kenya (ADSMKE) are both Christian organizations partnering to offer Care and treatment to PLWHIV in Marsabit and Isiolo districts.
Both organizations have established a comprehensive care centre in Isiolo and Marsabit that is giving care and treatment to PLWHIV while offering affordable medical services to the general population in the area.
Through this partnership FH and ADS seeks to fill in the following vacant positions in Tumaini clinic – Isiolo:
Job Title: Pharmaceutical Technologist
Duty station: Isiolo
Reports to: Clinical Officer Incharge

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide medications to the clinic patients as per prescription
- Ensure all patients have completed HAART protocol before receiving antiretroviral medication
- Confirm adherence with patients
- Track all available medications in clinic Pharmacy
- Confirm availability and maintain inventory of clinic Pharmacy stocks to avoid stock outs
- Enlighten patients on the side effects of various medications.
- Write reports with respect to department activities as required
Qualifications / Experience (Minimum)
- Must have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Be in possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized medical training college.
- Basic Training on HIV and AIDS, ART and OI administering.
- Must have a minimum of two years working experience in Comprehensive care Centre.
- Must be a computer literate and well conversant with MS and Excel Ms.
