Project Manager for Oracle SBU Presales
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Project Manager
- Ensure the project is delivered as per commitment of budget / timelines / quality
- Lead the team of onsite / offshore & partner resources
2. Oracle COE head
- Manage presales for Oracle SBU
- Develop technical resource skills required for growth of the business
3. Leadership
- Performance Management: Manage employee performance e.g. Weekly/monthly continuous performance discussions and provision of feedback. Translate strategy into executable plans while motivating your team with clear direction by setting clear goals and KPIs each quarter.
- Succession Planning: Develop the next leadership bench in your team through identifying and working with HR in developing your team’s talent potential e.g. coach, mentor and facilitate development of direct reports
- Behavioural Role Model: Emulate Techno Brain corporate values through your behavior through rewarding and voicing support for good behaviours as much as you reward technical competence.
- Team Engagement: Engage their employees and manage diversity within the workplace by encouraging and personally participating in employee engagement activities.
- Networking Skills: Exceptional ability to build a network of Techno Brain enthusiasts within the Oracle organization
Experience Profile
- The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience
- Knowledge of Oracle technology stack especially Oracle BI/DWH
- Knowledge of telecom domain especially e-TOM & SID frameworks
- The successful applicant will have product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred
- Industry/Practice – Solid knowledge specific vertical Domain knowledge in a specific technology with big transformation projects and deliveries.
- Familiar with Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning and Project Follow-Up methodologies.
- Willingness to Relocation to Ethiopia
