Our client, the investment arm of a Church which also holds in trust its movable and immovable properties seeks to recruit a Trust Services Manager.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
The position is responsible for providing oversight over management of the real estate properties as well as providing support in management of other investment portfolio.

Reporting: The position reports to the Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and periodic review of the strategic plan, business development plan, and annual operating plans.
  • Carry out periodic review of the property development strategy/plan and support the periodic review of the overall investment plan.
  • Provide periodic information to the Investment Committee on developments and trends in the property sector that are likely to impact the Company’s business.
  • Coordinate investment feasibility reviews which include challenges, prospects and opportunities for the Company to engage with the respective Church Organs
  • Provide effective Property/Trust Management which includes land and other title documents for properties and ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements, and legal issues.
  • Manage the Church Provident Fund’s real estate investments for industry competitive returns.
  • Manage all aspects of the property development projects.
The person required must have:
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to land, property investments, and project management.
  • Good company law background and good knowledge of land and property laws.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good finance and accounting skills.
  • Strong management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to relate sensitively to a wide range of individuals and organizations.
In addition the individual must be:
  • A committed Christian
  • Flexible and resilient, with ability to work smart and deliver on agreed targets
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate other staff
  • A person with high level of integrity and confidentiality and emotional intelligence.
Relevant Job Experience
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
