The company is looking to hire a highly motivated person for an exciting career opportunity for Temporary Web Developer.
The post holder will report to the Regional Systems Coordinator in the IT Department and will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Role Purpose: Responsible for developing the company’s Online products
Responsibilities
- Spearhead development of Online products
- Prepare a milestone driven project plan with regard to Online products
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to understand their needs and requirements
- Maintain documentation with regard to the Online products technical platform
Key Deliverables
- Ensuring transformation objectives are met
- Ensuring efficient planning and execution of transformation and innovation initiatives
Qualification and Experience
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University
Functional Skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good grasp of web technologies
- Good grasp of open source platforms e.g. PHP
- Good grasp of Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, Dot Net and SQL Server database
Experience
- 2-3 years web development experience
