Security Officer III

Job Description
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre.
Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:
- planning, carrying out and maintaining security arrangements of the college;
- carrying out security arrangement of the College property;
- coordinating investigative activities within the College;
- organizing for fire drills and filing security reports.
Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- a K. C. S.E certificate with minimum D+ (plus);
- served for a minimum period of three (3) years in a reputable security firm or disciplined force at the rank of sergeant or above;
- a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police; and
- a certificate in First Aid from a recognized organization.
Basic Salary Scales
BAC 3 – Ksh. 17,681 X 884 – 18,565 X 928 – 19,493 X 975– 20,468 X 1023 -21,490 X 1745- 22,565
The post will be on Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service.
