Our client, a luxury Safari Company, is looking for a Marketing Manager for their office in Nairobi.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the luxury safari industry with experience not only in Marketing, but also in Reservations.
Must be creative, outgoing and with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the reservations department
- Set up and implement marketing strategy.
- Plan and organize all trade shows.
- Set up and implement marketing system.
- Implement and update the social media and website strategy.
- Lead weekly Nairobi office coordination meetings.
- Develop and maintain all marketing materials.
- Agree with directors on PR and market representation services overseas.
- Prepare for at least two marketing trips per year.
- Quarterly promotion via an e-newsletter to all wholesale agents, clients & relevant media contacts.
- Maintain and supervise agent, ground handler, media and client databases.
- Ensure representation and membership in relevant industry bodies such as ATTA, KATO, KTF, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have a marketing related degree or higher education qualification.
- At least 5 years of international experience in a marketing role in the luxury safari industry.
- Must be computer literate – Microsoft office & Adobe.
- Must have a passion for safari, upmarket travel & wildlife
- Excellent communication & organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral English
- Admin & numeracy skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 250,000 /= (Approx. 2,631 USD)depending on experience
