• Ensure all Engineering operations within the Hospital run at optimal level.
• Preparing annual engineering department budgets.
• Developing and implementing planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in optimal working conditions.
• Ensure stocking and availability of appropriate spares/equipment.
• Facilitating trainings and continuous professional development activities within the department.
• Ensure Hospital engineering functions comply with medical, certification, legal and safety standards.

Applicants should possess the following:

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering or their equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Registered and/or eligible for registration with the Association of Medical Engineers of Kenya and/or Engineering Board of Kenya.
• Over five years working experience, three of which should be in a leadership role in a busy hospital.
• Strong organization, planning and leadership skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Proficient in use of computers.
• Over 30yrs of age.
