Vacancy: Sales Coordinator – Key Accounts
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage and the Key accounts team
  • Setting  daily, weekly and monthly targets for the team and ensuring they are achieved
  • Preparing weekly route plans
  • Evaluating performance regularly and ensuring productivity of each person
  • Training new employees on the company policies and product knowledge
  • Responsible for preparing team expenses budgets and any other expense budgets required to submit to the company.
  • Responsible of managing allocated company resources and the assets including POS.
  • Participates in business development, growth and sustainability functions within the key accounts
  • Achieving team set sales targets by value and volume
  • Listing of new products  and following up at the head office level
  • Prepares the promotion plans for Key accounts as per the calendar, seeks approvals for the same and oversees the promotions.
  • Ensures that timely orders are made and emailed to the office and bears sole responsibility for collection from the Key Accounts Customers as per the agreed terms.
  • Timely follow up with new key accounts opening and ensures existing business is well attended to.
  • Ensures products visibility in all POP’s and follow planogram
  • Makes the JBP presentation and periodic sales forecast by value and volume.
  • Maintaining general customer relations and updating Customers on areas concerning new products, price changes, discounts, damages etc.
  • Benchmarking and submitting reports to superior on prices, product quality, Areas of Concerns, market intelligence etc.
  • Collecting secondary sales effort and tracking report from the Key Accounts Head office level.
  • Analyzing Key Accounts category data and submitting the report to the management
  • Submitting weekly/fortnightly monthly statements as per the agreed credit terms to all their customers and following up on collections ensuring the accounts are up to date.
Qualifications & Experience:           
  • Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing, Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in a similar position with FMCG company
  • Any combination of experience and / or education to perform the job allotted.
  • Excellent Supervisory and leadership Skills
  • Enthusiastic and team player
