Octopus ICT Solutions Ltd (OIS) is an Information Communication Technology (ICT) company.
It is duly registered as a limited liability company in Kenya and licensed by the Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK) as an Applications Services Provider (ASP) mandated to provide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions to corporate, residential and individual consumers.
OIS seeks energetic, creative and a self-driven Computer Maintenance Technician.
Job Description
- The person will be responsible for administering and configuration of computers.
- Installing, implementing and utilising software.
- Upgrading computer hardware.
- Maintains, analyses, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- The person should have experience in working with various Windows Operating Systems, Linux and Mac OS.
Requirements
- Diploma in IT from a reputable institution.
- The applicant should have a CompTIA A+ certification.
- Knowledge of repair of laptops, desktops, projectors, printers and general office equipment.
- Must have some knowledge and experience with Computer Networking.
- 2 – 3 year’s work experience in a similar environment.
- Able to work under no or limited supervision.
- Experience in web design and development is an added advantage.
