Vacancy: LPG Sales & Distribution Manager
The Company: Hass Petroleum is a regional oil marketing company with a significant presence in East Africa and the Great Lakes region. 
We have fully fledged operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia and the DRC, dealing with sale and distribution of white oils (Diesel, Petrol & Kerosene), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and our own brand of lubricants blended to world class standards.

The Job: Reporting to the Head of LPG Business, the incumbent shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the LPG Sales Network in accordance with the Kenya Business plans. 

The job holder shall execute various sales and marketing activities to improve the performance of the LPG business, increasing its turnover and maximize profitability of the product line.

Key Responsibilities include;   

  • Ensure achievement of Business Plan Targets Goals (Volume & Margin) for LPG Business;
  • Manage LPG yard stock levels and liaising with the Supplies to ensure all time product availability through our stations and designated LPG shops;
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to ensure product availability and maximize profits;
  • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met by all LPG yards;  
  • Supervision the  day –to-day running  of the LPG Sales Network in collaboration with other support departments i.e Finance, Trading Supply and Operation and Procurement among others;
  • Oversee country market requirement/forecasts and gather market intelligence to ensure an overall winning position;
  • Managing and motivating sales teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency;
  • Analyzing and responding to customer complaints;
  • Marketing and promoting the company by liaising with station teams and other allied departments
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • University Degree  in a Business-related field;
  • Professional Marketing  qualification  i.e. ICM;
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a Supervisory role preferably in an Oil Marketing Company 
  • Good IT Skills with knowledge of analytical and accounting packages preferable.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team and able to work under pressure
  • Demonstrate work ethics, honesty and trustworthy at work place.
