EPZA HR Officer (Analyst) Job Vacancy in Kenya June 2014
The economic objectives of the EPZ program include employment creation, export diversification / expansion, investment attraction, technology transfer and backward linkages between the EPZs and domestic suppliers.
The Authority has the following vacant position:
HR Officer (Analyst)
Collecting and analysing data for establishing HR related policies and procedures
Gathering statistics on salaries for specific job titles and working with the HR Manager and the HR Executive in setting salary ranges for open positions.
Supporting the HR recruitment and selection process and analysing the personality or skills tests that are needed to better select candidates.
Assessing training programs to ensure that they work best for developing employee skills.
Analysing HR data and recommending ways for improving employee relations, job satisfaction and morale.
Assisting in the determination of the effectiveness of the performance evaluation tools through HR metrics and analytics.
Carrying out analysis to determine which benefit plans work best for the Authority through various forums with stakeholders.
Analysing the reasons employees exit or stay in the Authority and using the information to increase employee retention or provide exit strategies.
Creating annual HR departmental plans and budgets.
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources from an accredited university
- A Higher Diploma in HRM or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Computer application certification
- Must be a member of IHRM
- Must have at least three years relevant experience
- Must have analytical, communication and organizational skills.
