Senior Executive – Human Resources (Re-Advertisement)

- Coordinate and manage the entire payroll function including;
- Check and audit of the payroll, ensuring legislative compliance (tax compliance).
- Prepare and process timesheets and variations and input data for the payroll.
- Record and implement salary and wage variations as they occur.
- Prepare termination and redundancy payments.
- Ensure all staff entitlements are accurate and up to date.
- Actively contribute to the improvement and development of systems and procedures to increase the efficiency of the payroll.
- Develop, update and maintain payroll files, databases and spreadsheets on a regular basis.
- Control of attendance of all operating locations and ensure payrolls for all locations are checked.
- Actively own the Recruitment and Selection process oversee staff induction programme.
- Draw HR training program calendar in consultation with the HODs
- Creation of training modules, in coordination with various departments, to enhance skills of employees.
- Understand labor laws of all countries in Africa where the company is operating and ensure all laws are complied with.
- Manage the Staff appraisals and review process, from maintaining timelines to creating MIS and dispatching of relevant letters
- Handle Employee Relations- staff meetings, complaints, staff grievances etc
- Actively participate in bringing alive the HR software, preparation of relevant datasheets, ensuring updating of the software.
- Prepare and publish the HRMIS report every month with all the additional annexures and trackers as required by the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration (HR Option) from a recognized institution
- Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or an equivalent.
- At least 5 years working experience in Human Resources Department
- Experience in Payroll management is a must.
- Registration with a recognized professional body.
