Sales Coordinator
Role: The Sales Coordinator role is based around providing admin support to sales consultants & Business Development Analyst as well as coordinating with all the other departments across the organization and external stakeholders on behalf of the Sales department
Reporting: Marketing Manager
 
Specific Roles and responsibilities
 
Sales & Marketing Activities
  • Receiving incoming sales inquiries with the following objectives:
  1. Conduct Stage 01 Client Fact Find to determine needs and the appropriate channels / staff to service those needs
  2. Introducing the Lifecare USP to new clients
  3. Provide a professional and courteous first impression to new potential clients
  • Lead distribution: manage& assign incoming divisional leads to the Sales Team in the appropriate departments (Phone, email, referral, any other lead entry channels)
  • Ensures all follow-ups are carried out at arranged times with clients by the sales team as per the defined TAT rate
  • Strives to meet the required MIS reports as per the set deadlines
  • Identify and communicate strategies for new Lead Generation
  • Participate in Outbound Client Engagement Projects, including phone surveys, promotions and announcements
Client Servicing & Administration
  • Understand the requirements of each lead enquiry, individual/corporate, through a fact-find mechanism as defined within the sales process
  • Deal with queries from clients and ensure adequate information is provided on time
  • Refer clients to other departments of Lifecare International, i.e. general insurance, financial services and travel for cross referral purposes
  • Effectively portray the organization’s image in front of the client by presenting information in form of oral briefing, distributing literatures, email etc.
  • Conduct client validation to access the compatibility of client‘s profile with the organization
  • Provide Administrative Assistance to  Business Development Analyst on various projects as required
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relations with the Sales Team & Contact Points in insurance companies and other departments within Lifecare
  • Coordinate with Accounts for Sales performance and sales reports, sales commissions and other related aspects
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients as needed with the objective of facilitating the sales process between client and Sales Team member
Self-Learning &Development
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry/practices and the business community in the UAE and/or Kenya
  • Engage in training sessions on regular basis as required and communicated by the HOD
  • Attend external Marketing events and trainings as required on regular basis
Knowledge Management
  • Ensure all paperwork in meticulous order is carried out and comply with all management information and reporting requests and compliance with all Company ISO 9001 and legal/regulatory requests
  • Ensure all documentations in terms of Sales ISO manual is up-to-date and communicated to the  MR on regular basis
  • Generate weekly/ Monthly/Quarterly lead & sales reports
Technology Management
  • Use only the hardware and software systems as provided by the company for all communications, information and data storage purposes
  • Ensure client database is updated in a timely manner and is correct and up to date within the primary Database and the Lead Management System.
  • Ensure Quality standards set are adequately followed within the area of operations under your profile.
Team Work
  • Participate in all internal New Business initiatives and product promotions as requested and directed
  • Extend and participate in  the pursuit of all new business securing activities as directed by the  Business Development Analyst and Management of LCIB
  • Build and maintain cohesive relations with other departments and colleagues of Lifecare International
  • Support and encourage team spirit within LCIB by skills, experience and knowledge sharing
Confidentiality & Ethics
  • Ensure all sensitive client information remains confidential
  • Ensure unethical ways and means of other team members are appropriately reported to the concerned personnel
Pre-requisites
 
Qualifications:
  • Education in Commerce/ Banking /Insurance or finance is an asset
Experience
  • 2-3 years of minimum experience in Customer Service, Insurance or Administration.
  • Ideal background would be in Sales, Customer Service & Administration; experience of dealing in insurance products would be particularly helpful.
Language Proficiency (U/ R / W)
  • Proficient in English with ability to Read, Write and understand efficiently
Job Knowledge Requirement
  • Knowledge for effective use of Microsoft Office package -Word, Excel and Power Point. 
  • Knowledge of advanced features of Excel like Statistical Analysis, Pivot Tables etc. preferable.

  • Ability to multi-task and be organized
