The USAID funded FUNZOKenya Project aims to improve access to and quality of healthcare in Kenya by strengthening health training systems.
IntraHealth International is seeking to fill the following position:
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E)
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E)
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Monitoring and Evaluation, the M&E Officer will be responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation activities within FUNZOKenya project.
- Provide support in compiling monthly, quarterly and annual donor reports
- Participate in updating PMP indicators and targets
- Provide support in Developing performance expectation targets and assess progress
- Schedule and conduct quarterly data quality assessments to ensure the reliability of data collected and ensure that quality control measures are observed.
- Work with Project technical teams that include Hub Managers in training partner staff on data collection use of M&E tools, timely reporting and data quality
- Develop abstracts on the protect activities for local and international conferences
- Provide support in developing tools for routine data collection
Qualification and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Public Health, demography, Social science or a related field).
- Proven proficiency in statistical applications and other software packages.
- A minimum of 4 years working experience in a Monitoring and Evaluation Position in development field, preferably in health.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis (quantitative & qualitative skills).
- Experience in knowledge management (KM) and training on data quality, management and use is desirable
- Possession of excellent communication and analytical skills and attention to details.
