Executive Officer Job at Dairy Company in Nairobi Kenya May 2014
Our client, in the dairy industry is seeking to fill the position of Executive Officer.
Please note that this position is based in Nairobi with possible frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- The Executive Officer will provide leadership of the Lobby group
- Must be conversant with issues, procedures and operations of the Dairy Industry in Kenya
- The Executive Officer will be tasked with networking and ensuring that good relationships are forged and maintained with Stakeholders both internal and external.
- Must have excellent contacts with the Government and/or Politicians
- Will be required to Handle Farmers, Processors and Consumers
- The Executive Officer will be the face of the company, he/she will be required create a positive impact though his/her public appearances and appropriate business communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related study, or equivalent;
- A masters will be an added advantage
- Must have at least 10 years experience in the dairy industry.
- He/She must have worked for at least 5 years in the Dairy or related Sector in a Senior position
- Must be a good decision maker
- Must possess good Management skills and experience
- Must be apt in Planning and execution.
- Good policy formulation and implementation is required
