Expression of Interest (EOI) for Provision of M-Payment and Revenue Collection Solution

Purpose: Kenyatta National Hospital invites expression of interest to firms with experience, expertise and capacity in providing the hospital with m-payment and revenue collection solution.

Scope of Work
1. Establish a workable solution to optimize patient experience through efficient revenue collection channels and shortening the time spent to make payment for services

2. Ensure security, safety and convenience of the cash collected.

3. Develop and integrate a solution to HMIS in the hospital to ensure transactions can be tracked and maintained at times and in all service points
4. Coordinate the training and rolling of the project baseline and over time access the desired results in relation to the baseline and targets
5. Establish the infrastructure network and coordinate the required parameters of the project as well as institute any early warning systems that can identify and addresses implementation bottlenecks.
6. Supervise M & E staff training activities for the solution according to the training plan, up-date and adapt the plan and evaluate the training results
7. Assist in the design of the project dashboard and portal channel that will manage the data information and keep track of information flows (the Integrated revenue and payment management system)
8. Ensure overall management of the m-payment & Revenue collection solution (Status, progress, and issues if any) and produce specific reports or information sharing tools as appropriate and as when required by the hospital.
9. Support the solution on the day to day activities.
 
Qualification Requirements
a) Meet statutory requirements including Tax Compliance. VAT Certificate and Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.
b) Provide evidence of compliance with all Central Bank of Kenya regulations regarding communications such as mobile communications, wireless communications etc
c) Demonstrate evidence of a history and capabilities to handle revenue collection and large number of transactions
d) Demonstrate evidence of the capacity to manage risks associated with projects of this nature.
