Jobs in Meru and Kericho Kenya for Regional Retail Managers 2014
The Regional Retail Managers (RRM) will be responsible for managing shop managers, field marketing officers and technical services team. The RRM will make each Retail outlet as a profit center from day 1; therefore will watch over P&L.
These candidates should already be residents of those counties or are willing to relocate.
The ideal candidate should have:-
- Field sales skills in fmcg, telcoms or agribusiness
- Retail shop management skills; including working with POS systems and stock management software.
- Fluent in Business English and Kiswahili: written and spoken.
- An excellent communicator in languages spoken in each of the regions (mid-Eastern Kenya and South Rift)
- Be computer literate; can solve basic computing problems and is able to use tablets/ smartphones on the go.
- Ability to manage complex relationships from C-level to farmers and farm workers.
- Knack for business development and energy to walk, ride and drive as and when necessary.
- Well organized with military-grade precision, attention to details and thoroughness.
- Community mobilization skills.
- With a long term interest in developing a career in retail chains management and franchises.
- Someone driven by results; can work smart (fewer hours) or hard (long hours) as the circumstances dictate to achieve the objectives.
- Strong personality who can defend decisions firmly and factually.
