- At least a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or MBA in finance
- Over 12 years’ experience working in the Micro Insurance sector and more specially in the area of agriculture insurance
- Financial analysis skills and understanding the value for money concept
- Experience in developing insurance products, knowledge on agriculture insurance project implementation strategies
- Strong analytical and writing ability.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior public and private sector officials and obtain needed information and insights into the local environment.
- Experience at the country wide sector level/understanding of building inclusive financial sectors
