For our activities in Northern Uganda we seek to employ a;

Manager Agro- Extension and Research

As manager of our Farmer Resource Centre you will:
• Manage the agro-skills trainings
• Link with researchers and research institutions around soil fertility, crop production and conservation agriculture and translate insights to the daily practice of smallholder farmers.
• Realize on-site demonstrations and experiments.
• Manage commercial 20 acres demonstration farm which is part of the FRC.
• Realize and supervise a small laboratory for soil fertility and seed quality.
• Identify and test simple farm technologies for smallholder farmers.

You will lead a small team that will help you realize your goals.
You will also be part of the Pader Management team and work under the direct supervision of the director of MWH in Uganda.

Duty Station: Pajule Town on the Lira- Kitgum road.

Minimum qualifications
Masters Degree in Crop Production, Soil Science or Plant Breeding and Seed Systems.
