An international company is looking for a highly motivated, intelligent and skilled Graphic Designer to work on a full time basis
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelors/ Diploma in Graphic Design
- A minimum of 2-3 years in the same field in a busy environment
- Ability to draw/sketch with skill in art and design
- Web design skills, familiarity with architectural drawings would be an added advantage
- Ability to multitask on more than one design brief at a time
- Strong graphics skills, an eye for colour and the ability to create exciting theme customizations will be a perfect fit our organizations
- Knowledge in Corel Draw, Photoshop, illustrator and Fireworks is required
- Exceptional creative flair and design
- Proven competence in design and image processing software
- Have a portfolio of designs for projects undertaken in the last 3 months
- Understand the digital printing procedure.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom web designs using Photoshop, Corel Draw or Fireworks and Jquery plugins
- Participate in all phases of Web application and websites development projects from requirements gathering to deployment
- Developing graphics and layouts for product illustrations
- Using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design
- Contributing creative ideas and design artwork to the assigned products
- Employ colour, type, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques when designing project
- Create promotional displays and marketing brochures
- Design logos for products and businesses
- Develop the layout and production design of magazines, journals, corporate reports and other publications
