Assistant Chief Fire Officer and Trainer Job Vacancy in Kenya January 2014

 

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Chief Fire Officer and Trainer who will bring highly developed operational expertise, together with the ability to lead at a corporate level.
Working with all staff, we expect this individual to lead an innovative and challenging agenda of running a fire service and strive to build on our achievements to date.

Our ideal candidate will currently hold a substantive management position in EMT, Fire and Rescue, health and safety or above.

They will have demonstrable experience of operational incident command, fire and first aid training, EMT, disaster management and health and safety training.

Other desirable skills include:

  • Fire Equipment maintenance
  • Sales and marketing of fire equipment and services
  • Fire Alarm servicing
  • Fire and ambulance response
 We are looking for someone with excellent team skills, communication skills who can work at all levels, including with our many partners, who has experience of managing a fire team, training team, selling our services and bring in new clients.

We need somebody who has a commitment to diversity, including a management style which is positive and people focused. Drive, energy and accountability, self discipline are key qualities, as is the ability to work strategically and independently.
